First Care After Hours is staffed by board-certified primary care physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who have full-time medical practices in the Dayton region. Our reputable physicians provide optimal medical care to patients of all ages, during times that primary care physicians are normally not available. We treat a variety of injuries and conditions, perform physicals, provide immunizations and take X-rays on-site.

First Care After Hours treats a variety of non-life-threatening medical issues. Whether you are suffering from a sore throat, need stitches or are having chest pain, our board-certified physicians and Advanced Practice Providers provide you with optimal medical care.

We are a leader in the use of Electronic Medical Records. This system allows us, and all other physicians who are members of Premier Health, to have full access to your electronic medical records so that your care can be coordinated with physicians in the network.

Our office hours are 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm Monday through Friday, and 12 noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. First Care After Hours is a walk-in urgent care facility for patients of all ages; appointments are not accepted.

What to Expect

Often, a trip to the doctor’s office involves spending a significant amount of time filling out paperwork and signing forms. At First Care After Hours, we streamline this process by completing the paperwork as we bring you into the examining room. 

If you have previously been seen at one of the Premier Health hospitals (Miami Valley Hospital, Miami Valley Hospital South, Miami Valley Hospital North , Atrium Medical Center or Upper Valley Medical Center), or if you see a physician who is on our electronic medical records system, we may already have your demographic information and medical records on hand. In this case, we simply verify your information and all you need to do is add your signature.

Please bring your insurance card and picture identification with you for your visit.

After Your Visit or Procedure

We recommend that you follow up with your primary care physician after your visit. If you do not have a physician, we are happy to assist you in finding a doctor within Premier Physician Network’s network or specialty care.

Urgent care visit reports will be immediately available to your physician on the Premier Health electronic medical records system.
