Overall a very good experience. I thought the nurse who checked me in was a bit short, or somewhat testy, but maybe she was just busy. Never did answer my question about my blood pressure reading.

Dr. Joseph Hester is very thorough with you. All questions I had about my blood test numbers that I had already seen on MyChart he went over them with me and explained to me what they meant.

If pts asked to arrive at 6:15 then staff should arrive by then not 10 minutes late. This happens routinely. Dr. Hester is terrific.

I had my mammogram at Kettering Breast Eval Center, have always gone there. This time the results were abnormal. My doctor said it is difficult and problematic in getting the additional views and possible ultrasound order to KBEC. I offered to take a written order to KBEC myself, he said they no longer have prescription pads. So now there may be a long delay in getting additional tests I need. I pray it is not cancer. i got my results through mychart which is same as this office's portal. He said they are not compatible.

Dr. Hester had recently suffered a serious fall at home and was obviously in pain, but there at work nonetheless. Great work ethic; I hope all his body parts heal quickly.

I have to schedule a wellness exam 1 year in advance, past years bloodwork was never called in. I went on my own to get the bloodwork ahead of my exam and was told it's too early(2 weeks before), the week before my exam I was not going to be available. The Lab called the Doctors office and they told them it's too early and someone would call it in before my appointment. It never happened.

EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE IS THE BEST

HCP was very good. Front staff need to be more professional. I was there at 8:20 am and the front receptionist was heard saying "I'm ready to go home" and she ignored me when I arrived at incoming (which she has done at other times). Let her go home permanent and replace with someone who wants to work.

The MA didn't wait for the scale to beep (has happened on 2 visits now) and listed my weight as 10#'s over my actual weight. I informed her on the way out and she corrected it. This is very serious especially if I was a CHF patient.

Super visit with doctor. He spent time talking to me and explaining a lot of things. He was concerned I had been waiting awhile but I had only been there a few minutes with the nurse. Nice to have a doctor who will spend time talking and listening. He discusses everything and asked if I have any questions. He seems to care about his patients and their treatments.

Great doctor.

Dr Hester is wonderful. I am always happy with the care I receive from him. The only problem I have with the office is that on 2 separate visits the MA recording my weight and vital signs into EPIC lists my weight incorrectly from what the scale shows when she weighed me, but I never see this until when I receive my after-visit summary. One time she listed my weight as unchanged, when I had actually lost 10 lbs; this time it was 3 lbs higher than what the scale showed. Since my weight loss journey is part of my check-up, I now feel like I need to ask Dr Hester to confirm the weight that was entered. I don't feel like I should have to do that.

I appreciate that Dr. Hester considers my entire medical history for my on-going care plan.

Please be sure that the blood work order gets processed. I've had several times when I went to Compunet and they didn't have an order
