Rheumatologic Disorders

Rheumatology is the subspecialty of internal medicine concerned with joints, muscles and bones. As a rheumatologist, Dr. Hendricks specializes in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, such as arthritis and lupus.

Rheumatic diseases are characterized by pain and inflammation in the joints and associated structures, and muscle soreness and stiffness. There are more than 100 types of rheumatologic disorders, some of which are very serious and difficult to diagnose and treat.

Treating Rheumatologic Diseases

Dr. Hendrick's practice includes an on-site infusion center for patients receiving regular treatments for chronic arthritic conditions.
