Patient Guide

Appointment/Procedure Preparation

After Hours Care is an acute walk-in facility. Though wait time may vary, our goal is to spend as much time with our patients as needed to provide fast, friendly quality care.

What to Expect

Upon arrival to the After Hours Care facility, you will be greeted by courteous staff willing to answer all of your questions. You will be asked to sign in. Once the receptionist obtains your information, you will be given paperwork to complete. This paperwork is necessary in order to bill your insurance company correctly and help our providers to diagnose and treat you appropriately.

You will be asked for your co-pay during your initial registration with our receptionist.  We do accept self pay patients. Please call our office for specific questions and our receptionist will be happy explain our payment guidelines.

After Your Visit

Once the provider has diagnosed or treated you, our clinical staff will give you any prescriptions or follow-up instructions. Please just ask if you need a note for school or for your employer. We are happy to provide that for you.

If your diagnosis requires follow-up care by another physician or specialist, our staff will provide a list of area physicians that are happy to serve you. Our staff will also send a referral to the physician that you choose to see and assist with getting the appointment scheduled.

Billing and Insurance

Our office is contracted with most insurance companies, however, you may call the 1-800 number on the back of your insurance card to find out what you would be responsible to pay if we bill your insurance out of network. We are not a provider for Bureau of Workers Compensation cases. We have many incentives for our self-pay patients. These incentives will be explained at the time of service, or feel free to call us with questions.
