14th Annual Premier Health Stroke Update

Course Description

Each year more than 795,000 Americans have a new or recurrent stroke. Approximately 610,000 of these are first attacks, and 185,000 are recurrent attacks. Stroke is a leading case of serious long-term disability and the leading preventable cause of disability. Stroke reduces mobility in more than half of stroke survivors age 65 and over. Healthcare providers need to stay current on the ever changing developments regarding the prevention, early detection and treatment of stroke. This year’s Annual Stroke Update will provide information on navigating the stroke continuum of care and recovery.
