My entire care team was phenomenal. Each member took an active role in my care to educate me on the process, options, medications and aftercare and therapy. They were there to answer my questions during the recovery and therapy.

Every staff member met me with welcoming professional attitude. The resident (he told me his name but I forgot) introduced himself snd reviewed my MRI and helped me understand my situation and options. The doctor came in with the resident after a short break. They both made sure I understood how I could proceed. The shoulder model helped me a lot. I chose the injection and physical therapy. Very good appoiy

My experience with Dr. Herbenick has been excellent. From my initial consultation, through my rotator cuff surgery and post operative followups, he has walked me through each stage so that I would know what to expect.

The resident who did my history was very thorough and listened carefully. But he explained things in technical terms instead of using words I could comprehend.

On time. Short wait time. Efficient facility. Knowledgeable physician.

My son has had to come here for a couple sports injuries over the last couple years and we have never had any issues at all. Everyone is always nice and helpful. The doctors talk to him on his level and give him all the tools he needs to get through the surgery and the recovery.

Dr herbenick is a fantastic surgeon and Doctor. My daughter is very comfortable and confident with him.

We agreed to have a procedure done that I have been waiting a long time to be able to have. They called to set a date, it did not fit into previous plans, and they worked with me to set another date.

The ortho department provides excellent care at every level of my appointment.

I had a positive experience with the doctor and his resident. I would consider shoulder replacement surgery with this doc in the future.

My experience was great! My wait time was only about 10 minutes in the lobby then x ray they explained what was going on then to see Dr Herbenick. His nurse was great she explained everything that was going on with today's visit after she did her questions. Doc was great at showing and explaining to me the x rays and range of motion test, things could not have gone better!!! Thank you for caring!!!

Took several weeks to get an appointment.Was put on cancelation list but none became available.This seemed long considering piano and loss of functio increased.

This intern does not speak clearly. I had to have him repeat some of the terms he slurred through. He was not familiar with all the issues I asked about and had to look up the terms on the Internet in the office. He spent time with me answering my questions and I'm sure he meant well, but I was not positively impressed. I had to pull information out of him and ask him to repeat words and definitions. This did not make me feel confident in his judgments. He needs to speak more distinctly and know the terms he uses to build confidence.

Very professional and friendly office. I was seen in a prompt manner. Exams by the doctors very through and I didn't feel rushed. Appreciate diagnosis and treatment will start less aggressive. Definitely would recommend!

I have been well cared for by Dr Herbenick and this office. I have already recommended him to others.

Not sure how to evaluate the Resident who did pre-exam with his interaction skills and treatment options. On a scale of 0-10, would rate him a 5.

Dr Herbenick always takes time with me amd answers my questions.

I was told that I have 15 minutes with the doctor. However time with the intern before the doctor came and took up 10 minutes of that 15 minutes. The doctor didn't touch me to assess my injury which I think should be necessary. I would rather have the doctor rather than the intern doing the assessment and initial discussion with me since the doctor needs to know me and my condition better. I would like to be told clearly ahead of time how much time I have with the doctor who is treating me himself and not the intern. And then be given that time.

My previous positive experience with my provider has influenced me to return to his care for my shoulder replacement. He answers all of my questions and defines my options and leaves the final decision to me. I have complete confidence under his care.

Dr. Herbenick was absolutely amazing and easy to talk with! He was very comforting and explained everything to me. Before I left he made sure I was able to get my steroid injections so I didn't have to go back just for that.

Dr. Herbenick and his resident were very helpful in helping me understand my diagnosis and what to expect moving forward. I was able to get a second cortisone injection and my range of motion immediately improved later that day. I am very happy that I made this appointment!

exceptionally fast service! xrays completed within 10 minutes of arrival. i never felt rushed and the doctor wasn't focused on entering information into the computer. very refreshing! i felt like i had their undivided attention and focus.

I could not be happier with my experience. The staff and Dr Herbenick have been wonderful!

Over all I am satisfied with the care provided. My only complaint is that my PT protocol was not faxed to my therapist. I was told that my therapist requested the information several times. The office of the surgeon stated they did send it. But then I was contacted at home, and I was told that I was responsible to give the protocol to the therapist. And this person was not very nice about it. In the time she took to call and chastise me, she could have sent the order. It was very unprofessional.

Dr Herbenick was great. Scheduling my post visit EMG testing for diagnosing my issue was not as good.

This was my first visit to see the doctor. He made me feel so at easy from the minute he walked thru the door. He did not rush. He leans to the conservative side with treatment rather than rushing to surgery. I'm SO glad I went to him. My ortho retired and I was afraid to see someone new, but I'm sure glad I did!

I was very impressed by both doctors I saw at this visit, thorough exam and explanations. I received two steroid shots and barely had any pain from injections.

Impressive new, to me, facilities!

The trainer for Dr. Herbenick could use some schooling on how to make a patient feel comfortable. This includes not asking me why I'm there when it's a 3 year, ongoing issue. I had already talked to the doctor many times about this surgery, yet she felt she needed to tell me that there are a variety of things that could be done for me. The problem here is that the doctor and I had already discussed endoscopic surgery as what we would go with. She seemed upset that I knew what was happening, yet she was clueless. It's more than a bit irritating to be treated like that. If she doesn't know what she's talking about, I would suggest silence.

I have zero issues with Doctor Herbenick and his staff the day of my surgery was awesome!!! From what I can remember...LOL

Dr Herbenick previously fixed my left shoulder. He did an excellent job then and I trust him to do so again with my right.

He had a welcoming connection. He understood that I wanted to get better without surgery or pain killers. When I asked for an explanation of the pain, he explained the essence of the problem. It was a repeat of issue that was treated 4.5 years ago. I received exercises to start in 5 days.

My insurance was incorrectly billed. I was referred by the VA hospital but you billed my insurance, you will need to correct this.

Dr. Herbenick is a skilled surgeon. I am healing very quickly.

Epic unexpected downtime was in progress. Appeared to be no downtime procedure for checkout or scheduling future appt. Would have expected staff to possibly log pts name and give pt a call to schedule appt when systems came back up. Instead, pts (me) were just told to call back to the office possibly tomorrow. No downtime discharge instructions available. It was a rough day across the system.

Herbenick is the very best

Very informative and very easy to communicate with Dr Herbenick.

Dr. Herbenick was great but his assistant was dismissive and I had to ask for results that then seemed readily available. I had to ask again how to follow up on those results. It was like pulling teeth to get help from her.

They are all great people!!!

Everyone is so pleasant at Miami Valley South.

The examining room was c-o-l-d! The doctor could have zeroed in on my functional goals better, what I wanted from treatment, as my ADLs are unlike others', or telling me that I may have unreasonable expectations which might (or might not!) require modifications of my lifestyle.

First meeting with the doctor was good. He was professional and explained my problem with my shoulder and what needs to be done to help me .

My visit was excellent. Check in process was quick and easy. X-rays were done promptly that doctors would need. Had a chance to meet with both resident and doctor for an exam and plan was then presented for addressing my concerns. Very pleased with the outcome.

I travel 3.5 hrs to see this beyond AWESOME surgeon!!!

I felt like I was explaining my pain to a friend. Dr. Herbenick sat down and listened to a very long explanation of pain I have been having for 5 months. His recommendation for care was well explained. His bed side manner is amazing.

Dr Herbenick explained how he will treat my complex. Case. In addition to fixing my broken arm, he also suggested replacing the troubling antibiotic spacer with a reverse shoulder at the same time some the spacer had to come out anyway to fix the broken arm. This may be more stressful, but would take care of the problem with one operation.

I trust my Doctor to care for me in the best possible way for my condition and symptoms. He did a previous shoulder repair for me and that great care and coordinated treatment is what brings me back to seek his expertise and caregiving.

Dr Herbenick is THE BEST !!! He explains things in great detail on a level you understand. He is straight up with you as to what to expect. He is very compassionate, and is very respected in his field. I am very !!! fortunate he is my physician.
