Health Ministries at Premier Health

The Health Ministries Program at Premier Health was established in January 1994. Good Samaritan Hospital and St. Elizabeth Medical Center were the original sponsors of this program out of their similar mission to serve the greater Dayton community. From 2000 to their closing in July 2018 Good Samaritan Hospital was the sole sponsor.

Under Premier Health the program continues the following services for greater Dayton faith communities:

  • Assisting congregations in all aspects of health ministry development including formation of health council/cabinet/team
  • Continuing education workshops
  • Co-sponsorship of quarterly Health Ministry Network meetings
  • Bi-monthly e-newsletter
  • Blood pressure screening resources
  • Opportunities to participate in special projects
  • Community liaison to greater Dayton area agencies and resources

For additional information on the Health Ministries Program see our About Us page.
