Ambulance Access Directions and Procedures

All ambulance entrances are marked at facility entrances with additional signage on or near buildings, when necessary.

Atrium Medical Center

Ambulance access is located on Campus Loop Road.

  • Pull into designated ambulance entrance
  • Enter code on keypad located to the right of the first set of entrance doors
  • Go through double doors and turn right
  • Approach the nursing desk for room assignment
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care
  • If transporting an OB patient, enter through the emergency entrance; patient will be escorted to maternity care
  • When calling ahead with a stroke alert, you will be met by an emergency department physician, an RN, and will be taken directly to CT in order to transfer care to the RN there.

Austin Boulevard Emergency Center

Ambulance entrance is located off of Austin W Boulevard.

  • Pull into designated ambulance entrance
  • Enter code on keypad located to the right of the first set of entrance doors
  • Approach the nursing desk for room assignment
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care
  • When calling ahead with a stroke alert, you will be met by an emergency department physician, an RN, and will be taken directly to CT in order to transfer care to the RN there.

Beavercreek Emergency Center

Ambulance entrance is located off of Kemp Road or N. Fairfield Road.

  • Pull into designated ambulance entrance
  • Enter code on keypad located to the right of the first set of entrance doors
  • Approach the nursing desk for room assignment
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care
  • When calling ahead with a stroke alert, you will be met by an emergency department physician, an RN, and will be taken directly to CT in order to transfer care to the RN there.

Jamestown Emergency Center

Ambulance access is located at the east entrance off of Cottonville Road.

  • Pull into designated ambulance entrance
  • Enter code on keypad located to the right of the first set of entrance doors
  • Approach the nursing desk for room assignment
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care
  • When calling ahead with a stroke alert, you will be met by an emergency department physician, an RN, and will be taken directly to CT in order to transfer care to the RN there.

Miami Valley Hospital

Ambulance access is located off of Main Street.

  • Pull into to designated ambulance entrance
  • Enter code on keypad located to the left of the first set of entrance doors
  • Approach the patient flow coordinator (perch nurse) for room assignment
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care
  • If transporting an OB patient, take patient directly to the Women’s Center in the Berry Pavilion
  • When calling ahead with a stroke alert, you will be met by an emergency department physician, an RN, and will be taken directly to CT in order to transfer care to the RN there.

Miami Valley Hospital North

Access the ER via the Healthcliff Rd. entrance. Stay to the left at they Y in the road which will take you to the Ambulance ER entrance.

  • Use the access code on the key pad located next to the door.
  • Approach the nursing desk for room assignment.
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care.
  • When calling ahead with a stroke alert, you will be met by an emergency department physician, an RN, and will be taken directly to CT in order to transfer care to the RN there.

**Please do not access the ER through the Main St. entrance**

Miami Valley Hospital South

Ambulance access is located off of Clyo Road.

  • Pull into designated ambulance entrance
  • Enter code on keypad located to the right of the first set of entrance doors
  • Approach the desk for room assignment
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care
  • If transporting an OB patient, take patient to the OB entrance at the rear of the building
  • When calling ahead with a stroke alert, you will be met by an emergency department physician, an RN, and will be taken directly to CT in order to transfer care to the RN there.

Upper Valley Medical Center

Ambulance access is located off N. County Rd. 25A.

  • Pull into designated ambulance entrance
  • Enter code on keypad located to the right of the first set of entrance doors
  • If a report has been called in, the assigned bed will be listed on the board
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care
  • If you have not called in a report, approach nursing desk for room assignment
  • Transport patient to assigned room where a nurse will meet you to receive report and accept care
  • When calling ahead with a stroke alert, you will be met by an emergency department physician, an RN, and will be taken directly to CT in order to transfer care to the RN there.
