An Extensive Network of Top Physicians
Our team of physicians takes a comprehensive care approach to the management of operative and non-operative injuries, treating patients from the time you first enter one of our facilities through your rehabilitation process. Our sports medicine-trained physicians are dedicated to providing a complete musculoskeletal evaluation for sports injuries. And we are proud to have more sports-certified physical therapists on our team than any other health system in the region.
Innovation: Advanced Technologies & Facilities, Clinical Research
Management of sport-related concussion involves a step-by-step process beginning before a sports season even starts. Premier Health is proud to have the most extensive concussion management program in the southwestern Ohio area. We have credentialed ImPACT consultants who offer both baseline and post-injury testing. As the first in the area to adopt the Zurich Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport in 2009, we have used this criteria to identify a range of factors that may influence the evaluation and management of concussion, in some cases predicting the potential for a prolonged recovery. We also have established a firm foundation in Orthopedic research through Wright State University (WSU), with the WSU orthopedic surgeons actively participating in research and publications. The research performed by sports medicine and orthopedic physicians within Premier Health helps support growth in technology, care paths, procedural interventions and pharmacological categories.
Premier Health is proud to have over 2,300 physicians credentialed at our facilities. Search Find a Doctor to find a physician credentialed in Sports Medicine.
